Data Delivery Devices
has
developed control software based on Azeotechs
DAQFactory product.
This provides SCADA capability for RFScada plus other brands of
hardware, and provides very comprehensive features that are common to many
oilfield, rural water, municipality, winery, WWTP and other industrial uses.
This application may be quickly customized for your system, at a very economical
cost, and typically does not even require a site visit. Applications based on
this software are running right now, across the USA and vary from simple '1
tank, 1 pump' sites to complex oil fields and plants with hundreds of I/O points. We can
provide just the software or a complete pre-configured PC and tested system.
Some of the standard features
are below, remember we will add your site specific controls, graphics and other
functions as needed.......
Alarms. Hundreds of alarms may
be set, all fully configurable by the operator even while the program is
running.
When
alarms trip they may perform one or more of the following: play audio sounds,
popup warnings on the screen, dial out and speak the alarm, dial out and play
wav files, send email alarms, send text messages, print out the alarm, even key
up a radio transmitter then play an audio wav file over a radio network. All
parameters may be set for every single alarm giving maximum flexibility. All
alarm activity, including acknowledges (or lack of them) are logged to the
history file, which may be automatically sent by email to one
or more addresses every day.
The operator can easily configure the system for sending alarm callouts to
multiple people sequentially, automatically rolling to next responders if there
is no acknowledge. Support is included for multiple 'groups' (perhaps for
different fields of an oilfield lease) and time schedules for each user are
easily configured to handle alarm calls for different shifts and weekends; for
phone, email and text messages.
 Statistics
are
automatically
accumulated;
they can quickly be set for
various types such as analog levels, on/off start
count and runtimes,
pulse counts from flow meters etc. Daily text files are created that contain
min/max/averages for the day, month and since starting for all parameters;
these may be automatically emailed every day if required
and of course may be viewed at any time.
History logs are generated for
all alarm events, such as alarms firing or alarms being acknowledged. Other
events may also be selected for automatic addition to the history log; these
would typically not cause an alarm to fire but may be events such as a filter
back-flush or a consumable supply tank being refilled.
Calibration
may be invoked at any time.
If
a transducer needs to be replaced in the future it is a simple matter to
re-calibrate while the program runs; there
is no need to modify the application or have specialized programming knowledge.
 Graphs show historical values
such as tank levels, pump activity, VSD currents; it is easy to zoom in to an event of
interest or scroll back in time to see what may have happened weeks ago. Typical
applications have a 10 second time resolution and would store a couple of months
of data. All data may also be exported for analysis with programs such as excel.
Application specific graphics, set points, controls, indicators etc. are all
easily added to build your application so in a very short time and at a
surprisingly economical cost a complete system may be up and running. Call
today and ask about a custom application for you, we can quickly give you advice
and a price.
